Chater Mehr’s book tells the true story of a girl who hasn’t seen her martyred father since he died. The only thing she remembers is a feeling. Her family did not tell her the story of her father, who was one of the first paratroopers of the Pahlavi army. She learns the truth about her father through an incident and searches for his neighbors and people who might know him for his sign.

As I read the story, I thought that the atmosphere, as well as the author’s reference to white cranes and his likeness to his father, should be simple, pure, and stable. In the endless whiteness of the page, like the beautiful wings of the white crane, similar to the way he supports his family and country.
